Natasha Randall is a writer and translator, living in London. Her writing and critical work has appeared in the Times Literary Supplement, the Los Angeles Times Book Review, The Moscow Times, BookForum, The New York Times, Strad magazine, HALI magazine and on National Public Radio (USA). She is a contributing editor to the New York-based literary magazine A Public Space. Her debut novel Love Orange will be released by riverrun (Quercus, Hachette) in September 2020.

Her translation of Yevgeny Zamyatin’s We (Random House) was short-listed for the Oxford Weidenfeld translation award in 2008. It was reviewed in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Salon.com, Las Vegas Weekly, The Boston Globe, and The Washington Times, amongst other publications. She also was featured in a 30-minute interview on the Leonard Lopate Show on WNYC (NPR) in New York.

Her translation of A Hero of Our Time by Mikhail Lermontov published in May 2009 (Penguin Classics). She completed the translation of a science fiction thriller called Metro 2033 for Orion (2010). In 2012, she published Notes from Underground by Fyodor Dostoyevsky (Canongate). She has also published translations of various poems by Osip Mandelstam (in Jubilat and for an anthology poems published by Ugly Duckling Presse, New York) as well as letters and short fiction by Arkady Dragomoshchenko and Olga Zondberg.
